eble 3 Posted May 30, 2009 Lo guys following on from my nightmare trying to get arma2 running on win xp 32. when ever I try to install arma2 it now says 'arma2 is installed, do you wish to reinstall' when infact nothing is on my system. Does anyone know how to wipe arma2 completely so I can do a totally fresh install. I got arma2 working first time no fuss under win7 64, but I need it under win xp really. Hunin 0 Posted May 30, 2009 Just did a completely fresh instal myself, works like a charm. My first guess would be that in some magic Microsoft way some registries of Win7 found their way into your XP's brain. More likely though there is just some remnants somewhere. Make sure to check your windows programs list to check whether it's really gone and if that doesn't help search your registry. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
shadowze 1 Posted May 30, 2009 Only if you are familiar with reg edit do this , otherwise get a friend who is open regedit go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ If you see an entries for Bohemia or metaboli delete it HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Metaboli\ look for arma key here and remove Iam assuming you using the metaboli downloaded version Sorry I cant be more specific , metaboli havnt bothered sending me my key yet so I cant install it yet myself Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
