Having trouble running 1.16

I have updated and patched v 1.14 1.15 beta and beta 1.16, i went into ARMA file location and made a shortcut for 1.16 beta. whenever i open the gam eup via that shortcut it's like im playing on a version BEFORE 1.14 and hardly any games are open to me.

If i run the normal shortcut with 1.14 i can get all games upto 1.14 but not the BETA.

So i cant get ( or i dont know ) how to run the game so all my patches are applied.

am i missing something here?

change targetline to

yourdrive:\BIS\ArmA\beta\arma.exe -mod=beta

How do i do that? Targetline?

rightclick on the ArmA icon on your desktop open properties open linktab goto "target" add beta\ between ArmA\- and -arma.exe (see above)

Thats my 1.16 beta target now.

i change the regular ArmA file it's "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\beta\arma.exe"

when i run them its the same, its 1.16 and says ( you can download 1.14, but ive dloaded it?

You need 2 shortcuts if you want to play 1.14 and 1.16 version...can't run game with all version at same time LOL

I see so I can either run the game in 1.16 or 1.14, I cant access both at the same time? so either way ill not have access to certain games?(lobbies) ill just have to switch?

and since 1.16 my Arma looks like 1.05-1.08 :(

i have installed 1.16, i have no idea why , even if NOT using beta mod, memory behaves like that after some minutes of gameplay

i had such problems in 1.05

now too

8 tanks on map and ca. 60 soldiers on north sahrani

Try frst with deleting Arma.cfg and see. If that don't fix u problem reinstall game.

this gooddamn "orginality disc check" scratched my disc, thanx god since 1.09 we don't have disc orginality check in Polish version

starforce was checking early version 8-14 times before i could run game

my disc is so scratched that i cannot reinstal game

cause i had to restart Arma even 14 times before "orginallity of disc positive"

cause many many times i had "disc check took too long, try again"

to start earlier versions of Arma i had to wait and push DVD button many times :(

i cannot reinstal, starforce destroyed my disc

i will not be bying this c*** second time !

no need to reinstall. try using a new profile.

seems like driver probs.

also you can install 1.15 at the same time as 1.16.

just rename beta to beta116 and install the former again.
