Flash Thunder 10 Posted August 24, 2010 They put the AI on rookie mode. I heard it's useful to get demos done. I hear this alot especially from Conmasters. wont believe it until I see it, the AI in RO is pathetic, thats all I like to play screw PVP. bad AI no purchase unless theres a very well done single player campaign or something

Baff1 0 Posted August 25, 2010 Seeeing will be believing on that one. Every developer and his dog says how smart their AI's are going to be. I too am very excited about playing this game vs AI, in Co-op mode.
Capt. Sand 10 Posted August 26, 2010 I played RO back in '05 when they had a free preview on steam(I'm sure of it), and I thought it was great. just lying in the grass, picking off players who thought they could run around in the open, firing full-auto at everything and nothing. unfortunately, the few people I could get to play it only saw it as "ok," and one even said "I wish there was a thompson in the game." don't think I have to say what happened afterward. well, for me, it's all about the little things. small details like being able to switch between fire modes, use iron sights, switch from scope to reflex/iron sights, zeroing scopes, etc. so, if a game involves guns, is in first person, and features those, or most of those things, then I am content. it's why I chose to play America's Army over CS, MOH, BF'42(at least until they updated the engine and I couldn't run it anymore. that and the introduction of aaotracker, which made everyone suddenly fear for their fragrate(so long, teamwork)). where was I... oh yeah, well, it looks like RO is going to have "the little things" I was talking about; really looking forward to it. it's another game I'll add to a very small list of tactical shooters. TLDR: new RO? count me in.
Hans Ludwig 0 Posted August 28, 2010 What's up with the COD-like UAV that TWI is adding to the game?
Leopardi 0 Posted August 28, 2010 What's up with the COD-like UAV that TWI is adding to the game? Its not a cod like magic sensor, it takes a long time to recharge and arrive, it can be shot down, and it only spots people in the open. Making it easier to select an artillery target. Deathstruck 375 Posted September 2, 2010 That was a cinematic trailer with cutscenes? Or do the soldiers really cover their heads from explosions/jump over the bodies etc.? As for the video, it's looks darn good.
boneboys 0 Posted September 2, 2010 Will this game support TrackIR do you think. I could see the German guy peeking around the column and I thought hum... I know that AA had some implementation but do you think it could be made to work with the new UnrealED engine? Just asking.
sic-disaster 311 Posted September 2, 2010 They were looking to implement TrackIR, but no official news has been posted about it. I have hopes though.

reyhard 2082 Posted September 3, 2010 @0.46 - StG44 in Stalingrad? Beside that, trailer looks pretty good.
sic-disaster 311 Posted September 3, 2010 @0.46 - StG44 in Stalingrad?Beside that, trailer looks pretty good. Nope, that's MKB-42, a predecessor to the STG44. It was a bit rare so it will most likely be a weapon only available to Hero soldiers.
froggyluv 2136 Posted September 3, 2010 Wow! Awesome trailer! I really don't know much about the RO universe - is the gameworld pretty open or is it a railed shooter? If the first, I am most definitely sold.

sparks50 0 Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) Its open in roughly the same way battlefield 2 is. Has there been any word on moddability? It also has a German singleplayer campaign, which is very brave for a game. Hope to hear more about that soon. Edited September 3, 2010 by sparks50
boneboys 0 Posted September 3, 2010 TW deliver their SDK with the game or soon after. As a rule. Correct me if I'm wrong.
