Is that your campaign conversion if I may ask?

As you probably know, I am also doing the OAC project.

My plan is still to get as playable CWC and Res (BI and community)

campaigns converted to A1.

So if you want support to improve it (for example avoid the LOD

switching issues in camera scene) or new campaigns convert,

tell me.  xmas_o.gif

v1.12 will be out soon.

Fixes the reported crashes, eastings objects and some more

things. Check the roadmap.  wink_o.gif

In addition we will split HDT islands the the big SAT textures

to separate optional addons to reduce the file size for the core

package.

This means a new full version with 1.12 (patching will be

possible too).

Next on the agenda would be to realize the vegetation

replacement packs.

We are looking for some support here.

It is mainly about deciding about good looking vegetation

compositions while maintaining the object height for each

replacement pair.  smile_o.gif

ACEIP v1.12 out

   * New small full download (< 300 MB) and standard patch available.

         o HDT islands are separate package now.

         o Big SAT textures are separate package now.

   * Replaced missing icons with new ones.

   * Changed folder naming to userconfig naming to avoid special character issues.

   * Replaced the broken forest line model with a single tree (fixes Avignon and Ivtiliac CTD problem).

   * Up-to-date ACEIP YomaTools AddonSync available.

Heya Q,

For the replacement of floiage i suggest as before Berghoffs Trees....

Look at this screen, even for Arma1 quite impressing IMHO (the colors and such).

Questions:

- When i use to add Sat-Pack, will they hopefully then instantly replace other textures and make sat-texture as default?

Or how to use it together WITH Signature-checking?

I ask this because i couldn't figure out how to use Sat-Textures together with Sigchecking in the version before, thanks!

- Will there be more Sat-Textures in Future? I see that the guys making them for the latest version, have obviously found out a way to make them without 1,x GB per texture.

Is it still that Hard to make?

Hmmm... I'm try to update via the ACEIP updater and it says "File not found or site error: dl1.6thsense.eu, ACE-ArmA_Islandsv1.12update.exe"

and plus a few other short lines. Is this just me or is there some thing a foot?

You do not have the latest version of the updater.

Please use the direct download of the patch listed on the BIKI page @ ACE:IslandPack#Installer

and overwrite the .\arma\@aceip\Tools\sixarma-updater.exe this time.

More single SAT textures are likely. Big SAT texture rather not

due to the amount of work and the size involved.

Yeah I just DL'd the patch.exe file instead of using the tools. I still couldn't get them to work.

You can extract the patcher.exe with 7z and overwrite the

files in your arma folder.

The other option is to redownload v1.12 full. Its only 280 MB.

Hey Q,

I made an Island for OFP a couple of years ago.

And haven't got the energy to convert it to ARMA.

Its representing Danish terrain, and was loved by the 21st Viking Battalion, as it was fairly detailed with villages, roads, airports and millitary bases (I did not release it for the public)

Would you like to convert it, and use it in your ACEIP ?

Using ACE Latest, ACIP Latest, ArmA1.15+QG.

Trying to make somekind of mission on OFP world..

Have problems getting AI pilots using Nogova AirPs.

The middle Island Name? Not there either..

Testing Everon...NOPE

Wont use that either..

Testing was:

Place one A10-CAS on Taxi and issue waypoints...

They wont use it...They use the Taxi but they wont

take of..

In other words in our editor tests Everon, Nogova and OFP World

all worked fine for AI to lift off all by themselves.

As said you need to add a detailed repro and ensure that no

Your picture reminded me .... awesome island that one.

But as suggest ..... biggest problem was no east west roads.
