major woody 11 Posted January 15, 2009 Hi I'm aware of theese respawn default rules: 0 - No respawn 1 - Respawn as seagul 2 - Respawn where you died 3 - Respawn at a base (base is allocated as a marker named respawn_west/east/guerrila/civilian) 4 - Respawn into an AI slot in your group, if none left you become a seagul 5 - Respawn into an AI slot on your side I'm using rule nr 4 in a mp game... My question are: Can I determine in what row I whan't to respawn? - lets say I play as an officer - if I get killed I would like to respawn as the Squadleader and again as the Teamleader and vise versa... (uneffected of how my platoon hieraki looks like offcause...) What U say - can it be done...?
hoz 0 Posted January 16, 2009 You have no control over which unit you respawn to using the default respawn, the default respawn will respawn you to I think the 0 position of the group and move through the group slots until they were used up. .... that said you could create a custom dialog, something like norrins revive/respawn scripts then you could maybe control it.
