6thSense.eu Battle Center A.C.E. Edition Public Beta, By Sickboy (sb_at_6thSense.eu)

This is a quick 'n dirty release to finally get Battle Center to the Public, and provide a big set of (MP) Coop Missions for the A.C.E. Mod and Islands Pack.

Updates and better information and documentation hopefully arrives ~2009 biggrin_o.gif

Battle Center is a MultiPlayer mission for Armed Assault, playable from East, West and RACS side.

The mission is available in multiple camo and island flavors and thus easily makes for 200+ available missions.

Battle Center uses DAC (by Silola), a DAC Custom Zone Editor, and the RealTime Editor (by i0n0s) to create

a most dynamic and highly configurable mission that can be replayed indefinitely; basically Imagination is the real Limiting Factor :-)

Missions will be available in the MP Local Server and Dedicated Servers

I was interested in trying this out but I have run into a problem. Unless I am mistaken it seems one of the addons required(Mapfact editorUpdate), needs the ArmA expansion Queens Gambit, which I do not have. Would you kindly update your original post to make it crystal clear to the reader that QG is required for this mission/addon?

I've got this error just when start a custom mission with ACE+Battle Generator...

I've not put any special Mando Missile support in Battle Center as of yet. Might be a nice addition though smile_o.gif

Was DAC optimized to work with ACE? Are there any conflicts between the DAC AI behaviors and ACE AI improvements?

I may be wrong here but I doubt DAC was optimized to work with it. It was released a year before the ACE beta came out. As far as conflicts, I've been wondering the same thing but I haven't found anything as of yet. I make all my missions with DAC and everything seems to work well together. You may want to check the ACE thread though, others may have mentioned a conflict there. I do not remember reading anything though. Do a "print this topic" search for DAC and you may find something I missed.

Rather unlikely as BC is a DAC mission and ACE was tested with

BC by SixSense in daily gaming over the last months.

I think there should be no big problems with DAC

It is combined in BC so as Q told it should be tested a lot
