Comradesniper 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Hey guys I'm just getting started in O2, and I kind of understand the process of how to create geometry and texture things in this editor... but I don't know how you would create reference images/textured planes that are visible in the orthographic or 3D views. I'm sure something about it was on the Piper Cheyenne tutorial, but thats now down. The only method I've found involved putting the images in the background as background textures, but the problem with that is that they get lost when you close the editor. What is the best way to do this?
sanctuary 17 Posted November 22, 2008 You can try to reach the archive.org version of the website, often the images are dead (if the website does not exist anymore), but at least the explanations are always there : http://web.archive.org/web....ttp Whatever browser you are using, make script javascript is enabled, or you will not be able to navigate through the archived links from the archived tutorial. bedges 0 Posted November 23, 2008 Not sure at what stage you are with your investigations, but perhaps OFPEC has some tutorials to offer which might help. For example, Suite of O2 Tutorials by Brsseb.
