rip31st 98 Posted October 1, 2008 Is there another way to do it besides a hitching script? I've figured out a way to do it using a hitching script but the results are not very desireable. Meaning the wobble or bounce effect occurs just like when hitching a MHQ to a chopper...same deal. Are there other ways out there? Thanks!
Col. Faulkner 0 Posted October 1, 2008 Perhaps making another model with the tank aboard, and swapping these in game? It'd probably mean that you can't actually drive-on/drive-off though.

[aps]gnat 28 Posted October 2, 2008 You could still drive on, and when you "load" the tank, it would be removed, crew removed (placed in cargo) and another generic "tank" covered in a tarp or similar would appear on the deck. You can animate GEO LOD also, so you could have it so you have to walk around the canvas covered tanks. When you "board" the tank the generic covered one would disappear and your selected tank would appear. You could make a complete library of every tank available to ArmA, and substitute instead of the generic covered lump, but that would be a lot of data and a lot of work. Don't know of any other way myself.
