Updated v2

I seem to be getting many errors loading F35.

Can not find;

\dgrey\bot_destruct.rvmat

along with others. I put old version back in works fine? sad_o.gif

Sorry guys, this error wasn't appearing on my system.

I'll check it in a few hours and re-upload it.

There are a lot of more missing files:

wing_l_r.rvmat

wing_u_r.rvmat

tail_i_destruct.rvmat

bot_destruct.rvmat

side_destruct.rvmat

:-/

all missing in the dgrey folder

Thanks mate, it's a simple fix but unfortunately my company I work for saw fit to make me come into work today.

I'll have it fixed and ready to fly in about 5/6 hours.

Not sure why it didn't show in testing, either way I know how to get it sorted.

(from a list of the errors I've been told about, the only thing I can think of is I uploaded the wrong file)

Please do not download beta v2.0 for the moment a new version will be available soon.

Right lets try this one again.

unfortunately the previous version had the wrong files etc, no excuses, all done now.

as an added bonus I've had time to add:

pilot optics for the forward targetting system.

XEH compatible

Good job on this, lots of cool features.

Some suggestions:

Make the sonic boom "boomier", sounds very weak and distorted at the moment. Although it makes for an excellent multiplayer moment. wink_o.gif

Also, should you be able to hear it from the cockpit?

Nice touch giving the afterburner a sound effect, I was wondering when someone would do that.

If you can, give the optics the ability to stay zoomed in instead of auto-resetting.

Unfortunately the internal bombs still often hit the plane, stopping it in mid-air.

There one or two clipping errors and missing bits of texture on the canopy. Cockpit wise, i'd concentrate on making the internals fit the game rather than real life specs. So perhaps consider adjusting the joystick, etc.

Just one other issue, the F35 appears to make the BIS AV-8 inherit part of its afterburner script.

I have an issue with the "tail wings" (stabilators/elevators) tilting the wrong way when I pull up/down.

Same with the ailerons.

Am I the only one experiencing this ?

lol ... yes, plus a bunch other problems.

- ailerons - leading edges only move ?!

- shadow of elevators not moving

- dropping DJAMs cause plane to explode

- Can land in VTOL mode

not bad but they are betas

how on earth the elevators reversed direction when the file was binarized I've no idea, seems the weapon script has suffered a few changes aswell, hence the Jdam now destroying the planes.

The others things I'm aware of, it's still a learning curve.

I'll fix the minor issues everything else with have to wait until the final release.

Sorry mate your correct - yet another error.

On the bright side I've not added anything new and fixed the texture error, so this should be good.

I've spent most of the holidays sitting in this thread fixing annoying wrrors, no ones fault but my own.

I apologise for the F$%k ups.

I guess a greater being is telling me I shouldn't be converting/making addons.
