Custom faces Next step

hye,

don't shout at me if i ask something stupid but...

i now know that you can edit faces and stuff but only the texture. What i actually want is not to see the nose and mouth of my character annymore so that it looks like i'm wearing a bandana around my mouth.

You can only edit the texture and not the model itself so only option is to use a face with painted on mask.

Wipman for example made some nice looking ones of that kind.

really?...that sucks...because i painted te mask but looks very fake.

could you post a link to those pictures from wipman?

If not mistaken, it looks fake because the normal/spec and maybe AO (if it has) haven't been edited aswell. Again if not mistaken, this can't be done (custom, only by replacement).

On a side note, watch the thin ice you are walking (refurring to re-open some old topics).

what is AO? and what do you mean by normal/spec?

Look through OFPECS Faces Library. Most of these submissions are from Wipman.
