HOOK / WIRE USAGE for Kuznetsov

Place your Kuznetsov and then place 2 GAMELOGICS like this;

In the INIT line of each GAMELOGIC paste this code;

this setPos [getPos this select 0,getPos this select 1,17]; bbd = [getPos this, 22] execVM "\TAKR_Kuz\scr\hook.sqf";

Now come is slow'ish (~250) and at deck height and the "wire" should grab you. If you're too fast or too high the wire wont wash enough speed off and you'll over-shoot.

Once you touch the deck you need to be "de-accelerating" *(Z key etc) hard until you stop ..... unless you start to over shoot *:tounge2:

wonderfull model and handling, thanks gnat and eddy for this superb plane!

unfortunately i also encountered the cockpit texture problem. i would say that it's not "missing" the cp textures, but there is a white semitransparent overlay over the front panel. i can clearly see the panel texture beneath. this error also shows up with a 1.14 arma with no mods and the su33 as the only user-addon.

i have an ati hd4850, there might be a connection to radeon cards/ the 48xx series.

another bug i have is that no tracers show up when 6thsense-tracers are enabled. with an unmodded arma the bis standard tracers are visible though.

Beut work guys!

Though I also get the instrument poblem, looks like a white texture laid over the actual intrument panel.

Got it down to the last addon in my mod folder with the Kunestov and problem persists.

Also noticed missiles launching through the middle of the ramp at the start of the sample mission. Makes for a few prayers when taking off.

I also thought the Kunestov looked a tad too dark and probably too clean and even, but thats the best I could nit pick..

Realy this is very nice stuff, love the FX on the bird. Well done Gnat and Eddy.

About the 6th sense tracers not working with this probably is the lack of XEH (Extended eventhandlers) in the addon. But this is BETA so hopefully it will come. Archangels cobras didnt work with the tracers and other addons, but he added XEH and now all is good.Myke's "Dynamic View distance" doesnt work without the XEH either when start inside the aircrafts, but at least you can start outside to get it to work (best addon for aircrafts in ArmA). XEH is definatelly needed these days.

I love the carrier but there are a few places where you fall through the carrier, in hanger 2 the area to the right closest to the sea has a spot that was not filled in completly and you fall through, the command towers side closest to the sea is also hollow. aside from the two hollow spots excellent excellent work

I have no texture problems... but I did not like that my face is almost stucked against the instrumentboard.. FOV is what they call it I believe whistle.gif

Did not fly much or checked the carrier...I was only lookin`if I had the cockpit texture problems.
