Yoshama 0 Posted July 8, 2008 some one a while ago posted a pic of a mushroom and stated that they have never seen it before or sense. I was making a mission just south of the farm houses, south of Carmen, around map grid gc40, at the top of the sector. ( i don't know how to upload the pic if some one could tell me how) http://www.xfire.com/screens....78d.png
Praelium 0 Posted July 8, 2008 Yeah, I've seen a few of them around. It's nice to have small details like them, that aren't over used.

lecholas 2 Posted July 9, 2008 And? hehe yeah, so whats the question then? Yeah, do you want to ask if it's edible or poisonous? The basic rule: if you don't know the type of mushroom don't pick it up and eat it. If you're hungry you'll have to wait for ARMA2 and hunt a boar.
NoRailgunner 0 Posted July 9, 2008 It could be the shaggy ink cap. The young mushrooms are edible. Don't need to get hungry there are some rabbits escaped from Sgt. Ace farm. Be warned they are sometimes a little bit nervous and angry!
opteryx 1562 Posted July 9, 2008 Well it'd be more fun if it was Psilocybe, especially for the hungry bunnies.
dsm 0 Posted July 13, 2008 for psilocybe semilanceata or 'liberty cap', you should check the gentle slopes at the base of mountain ranges on Northern Sahrani between sept - november. The fruit bodies appear higher up the slopes at the start of the season and move down into the valleys come november. The first ground frost will kill them off. I don't know the by-laws on Northern Sahrani, so watch out for the men in blue! As for identification - about 3- 8cm high, small cap .5-1.5cm, and a inky blue stripe through the base of the stem. Anything similar aren't poisonous so no worries. Check where ever sheep poo!
