If anyone is interested in teaching me how or has the time to help out on a couple RVMATs it would be appreciated. Right now i have Southy (Eble) making them for me. I feel bad asking him to take time from his own projects to make them for me.

For example the see thru issue on the mohawk is due to the RVMAT. I was fiddling with it and made it worse lol. I want to re-release it but it still needs only that fixed.

Eddie, see-through issues may not be related to rvmats, from my experience this is related to old OFP converted textures.

When this happens I always;

- Load the texture in TexView2, save as a TGA

- map the model with reference to the TGA texture instead, let O2 convert it for you

(or use the new TexView2 to convert it back to a PAA and overwrite the old one)

Ok so i have the Mohawk updated and i am trying to finish up the trucks today. Ive been lucky in a sense the wife has been working some long shifts lately so ive been able to pound out some stuff. I want to release the regualrs and the trucks so you guys can test them for me and while you are doing that i will go back update the fusiliers, m113 pack and release the red brigade troops. The red brigade are like communist southern sahrani faction loyal to the government. The are basically the fusiliers with a different cammo and eastern bloc weapons.

also to let the kitten out of the bag: vilas mentioned allowing us to do a RACS M109... im jsut waiting for the MLOD... I already did the skin :bounce3:

also if anyone has time and is interested i need a good screen shooter for the new releases. Seems all my normal guys are busy with school or work\real life. so please pm me and i will pm you back with links to ftp.

Thanks to the loyal fans that stuck with Project RACS all this time. We had some good members of the team come and go, but i never gave up. This project has helped me heal physically and emotionally, almost destroyed my marriage, and has probably taken a few years off my life. i have met some really cool people from around the globe and then some real dirt bags too, but In the end i think it was all worth it.

Great new for the M109 ! It will be a good addition for Racs troops.

Though, i've a question fo you : would it be possible to have a GAU with the Mohawk ? I think it could be very usable for CAS mission. It is a modest demand because i know that it can be hard work and that you probably have better things to do. :)

And i want to thank you again for all the awesome work you've done for years, making SLA vs RACS the coolest scenarii/background (imho) for Arma.

The OV-1 was designed and built as observation and reconnaissance airplane.

Imho an PRACS OV-1 Recon+Transport (with Laserdesignator for copilot/WSO) aircraft would fit better. There is already a big choice of PRACS CAS/Bomber aircrafts. ;)

As you said their is limited info but on this site i found out about teh army requirements for 6 hardpoints for wepaons.

speaking of the infantry. you meantioned earlier in the project that the racs would also have some reserve units or what would be the Equal to the National guard. Also may i suggest that The m109 get a Ammo carrier to follow it around for resupply. ^_^

I'm far from being a specialist but i've found this page about gun pods and they talk a bit about the Mohawk. Also you can refer to Cheyenne56's US Mohawk gunpods, but i'm sure you've already done it ;). (for those who want to see gunpods on US Mohawk i made crappy screens here and here).

@NoRailgunner : yes you are right, would be cool to have a recon/unarmed version, but i still think that adding gunpod(s) could bring "punch" to CAS version. :)

@Vilas : Good news, thanks for sharing/bringing new stuff for RACS.

One of our server's will be running RACS as an option once either we get time to make missions or someone beats us to it, currently playing around with a domination version.

For slot servers have a look at http://www.alpha-networks.co.uk although not advertising the servers at the moment they will provide at a very reasonable price, they host our dedi boxes so speak from experience.

not a bad idea not sure about the Bradley but Maybe racs versions of your m151 Jeeps villas with the 50 cal and tow. Heck maybe strap a 105mm recoiless Rifle. on it. i mean jeeps did use em in vietnam and the 80es ^_^.
