There is only one RC patch for 1.08. AFAIK it's not an official patch. I'm pretty sure you don't need it to play 1.11, but if you're in doubt, why not download it?

edit: sorry, you don't need 1.05. That's a beta. I think it's just 1.08, then 1.11, then. I forgot, it's been so long already!

Yep. 1.11b includes all previous hotfixes.

I got problems here too.

When I start multiplayer in 1.11, I get a message that says, 1.8 patch available, blah blah.

When I DL'd the 1.8 patch it said I needed 1.5

What's the correct progression?

I get that message too with 1.11b. It seems that the version comparison doesn't take higher version numbers or betas into account.

Version 1.11b includes ALL changes made since 1.08, including those from the 1.08 hotfix and the 1.09 beta. Look at the change log if you don't believe me.

Upgrade path from v1.04 to v1.05 and to v1.08 are listed over there.

After v1.08, install v1.11beta. When you start Multiplayer, you will always get the message about v1.08 is available.

Mmm...I believe you...Tried it and it works..

Gotta try the 1.12 tonight...

Have some problems with freez from time to time..

The game halts, then after a couple of seconds

Usually it means instaling 1.05 and then 1.08 on top of it, except if you have US version ARMA Combat Operations from Atari, you have already version 1.06 and you need to install 1.08 only (both specific smaller US patch and full internation 1.08 patch will install fine).

So does anyone know if this means that you can buy the Gold Version (with QB) then patch to 1.09+ (Well, 1.12 beta right now..) and not need to keep the CD ROM in the drive? If so I'm picking up Gold on the way home from work today!

As far as I can tell the 1.09 removed the CD required thing right? At least my original (ArmA:CO) install + 1.12 doesn't seem to complain anymore. I've tried searching and I can't find anywhere on here where it was specifically said we don't need the cd rom anymore however...

With too many games needing their own DVDs in the drive, it would be wonderful to not have to constantly switch and be able to enjoy ArmA Gold without needless DVD buzzing in my ear and constantly pawing my games.

Yep doesn't need the CD anymore. I believe 1.08 does, but from 1.09 up you don't need it in the drive. I don't. I actually found this out by accident, hehe.
