SLX Vehicles

Why not just include Vehicles that already have them in it.

No, it is automatically added to supported vehicles. Include the mod, use the vehicles and the doors start animating. Try it first.

It's not script controlled only. He means you can apply the same scripts used to other vehicles which he has not included in this mod yet.

All ok sorry so i just put the addons in my addon folder and i got the SLX Vehicles? So i can just put the Vehicles on the map and play?

ok iv got it working but is there post to be an option to where you open doors and all? Because they open and close all by its self? I see in some peoples pic that they are out side of the vehicle and the doors an all stay open but i have no option to open or close doors?

it replaces the BIS trucks

This addon looks really cool, but for some reason when I use it, the hood is propped up on the vehicles. The doors only work in MP also. why is this?

I have the extended eventhandlers btw so it can't be that.

Hmm that's strange. Works fine in my SP. Haven't tried multi yet. Maybe it's the version of XEH you have, I am using the XEH's in MaddMatt's newest release of effects(and only those).

A simply astounding addon for immersion. Doors flying open when the vehicle is hit bad, hood pops up etc. Just awesome. Hat's off to the SLX team, amazing.

you can use only xam_vehdes.pbo and xam_air.pbo from XAM

and you will have those desert vehicles.

Those McNools vehicles are the same as in XAM?

PS. XAM is now compatible with XEH, and also with ECS:

I'm not a scripter nor have much config experience. That said I have a feeling it's the other way around. I have a feeling the compatibility issue with SLX Vehicles + McNool's has something to do with a lack XEH compatibility. If that's the case, it may be McNool's Desert Vehicles that needs to be "made compatible".

Just a thought. I have no idea what I'm talking about, only that a lack of XEH compatibility has caused problems with other Mods/AddOns in the past.

hi all, i done the config for the Mcnools desert vehicles, im no super scripting person but if someone can let me know what would have to be added to the config (if it is just a config thing) to make them compatible i would be more than happy to update them for everyone (obviously pending permission from McNools to update the pack).  smile_o.gif

Hi, seems that using the V1.1 of this addon in MP it makes some

weird things; on the: ArmA v1.08 + QG + Johnn's USMC + ArmA

Effects 0.7 + Lowplants 1.1 . THe weird things are: Desincrony on

the wheeled vehicles doors and hoods, the hoods stay wide open

and don't move (down) once you enter in the vehicles, the doors

stay opened long after enter and use the hmmwv, for example.

Seems that is very imcompatible with the MP aspect of the game.

But works perfectly with all that said up there, in single player and

makes the game look much better, i miss the menu options to

open/close the doors and a different addon that only affects to the

Queen's Gambit vehicles like the camoed pickups and that. Let's C ya

And i Second this:

1. Animation when accessing gear of vehicle, ie. open trunks, doors...

2. Should be a Arma2 Standard tounge2.gifwink_o.gif

Also at least Hummers (EDIT: not only in MP environment) are incapable of passing bridges in Dolores.

Also the flag on the BMP isnt attatched to the antena, so when the turret turns it just floats in the air

Well, because of my bad internet connection Im playing SP with bots 1.0/1.0 and I have no issues. What's the result? SP rule xP

The vehicles where not tested in an MP environment so there might be some issues.

Solus is away for at least 3weeks so he's not able to fix them at this point.

There are two ways to have these issues fixed as quick as possible;

1. Be as clear and detailed when reporting your issues and how to reproduce it.

2. Fix them on your own and place them here as a temporary-fix

The problem with both is that you will not be able to play online untill Solus releases the fixes with the right signatures.

I have tested SLX Veicles 1.1 in MP environment.

Doors are randomly opened, etc when client has

this addon, but servr - not

But if both - client and server has this addon - all is working

really great in MP, so I think that this is not a bug. Just

both sided need to have those addon. Not a big probem

for coop comunity

And yes - I can confirm, that with SLX Vehicles, I can't pass

the bridges

and only sinks how it should, if im the driver; with an AI driver don't

seems to work. Let's C ya

LOL I guess it's not SLX Veh that causes that... I don't think that this addon even touches BRDMs.

Anyone have an idea how to fix passing bridge bug?

Maybe I can fix that, but I need some clue, whatis responsible for that...

PS. That is only HMMWV problem (all types), UAZ, BMP or M113

can pass the brdge

OFP & ArmA bug, i remember building me a bridge in OFP with busses over a river, as long as the vicles dont move they stand on the water.
