On that i think animated door´s and hatches search lights abillety to launche smoke and moore functions. And the abilety to transport objects such as barb wire and biger weapons. I saw that in vbs2 trailer. towing and vinching Hi bella1, I like your idea, that's what i'm sayin.BIS should put all features from the OFP/ArmA Communitys into ArmA 2.And that's the reason why i want to see gas masks and toxic gas in ArmA 2.It's already possible, and not hard to mod an gas mask, but it is better if we have all this features in the default version. Don't forget mate,we will not get the vbs2 features or the quality on ArmA 2,look at the price of both games... Greetings DaV!d Armstrong
stakex 0 Posted January 9, 2008 Things like transporting equipment that we have seen in the VBS2 videos would be nice... but I wouldn't expect it. Not becuase ArmA2 will be so much cheaper, but becuase its not something a large portion of the community would really use. Its more of something for training purposes, or organized MP games. I would consider that a little feature... and I would assume alot of little features from VBS2 will make it to ArmA2, and we already know some of them will like the tracers. But what really makes it expensive is the AAR, real time editor, and things like that... thats the stuff we will not see in ArmA2. It is possible other vehicle functions will make it into ArmA2. I would say theres a good chance we will get opening hatches and such. Personally... Id kill to be able to use my blinker when Im turning.
NoRailgunner 0 Posted January 10, 2008 Well nice to have such features with first ArmA2 realease. I prefer realistic transport features and ropes more than animated doors, hatches etc. DaV!d Armstrong why you writing all in italic?
DaV!d Armstrong 0 Posted January 10, 2008 DaV!d Armstrong why you writing all in italic? Are you stoned? It looks better..

Kirby 2 Posted January 10, 2008 I wish I was... But enough off-topic! I agree with the vehicles. They should have it so you can transport equipment ect. Even better, weapons transporting should be limited to the space the vehicle has, and should visibly fill up the trunk/spaces inside/bed of the vehicle when you put weapons. ammo, and equipment in there. Then you can tell whats in there at a glance AND it looks good.
wipman 0 Posted February 17, 2008 Hi, i'll really like to see openable hatches and doors on vehicles, better damage/models that allow you to cover with a hmmwv door; shot from vehicles and move inside the vehicles. Also smoke launchers, flares, chaff... working internal MFD's and working systems warning sounds and lights; apart of ropes etc. Let's C ya
CyDoN 0 Posted February 18, 2008 i would like to see more functions based on scripts. for instace, the stirker is not just an APC its a mobile HQ it would be a good idea to give through saterlite orders, waypoints etc sorry for the spelling
dm 9 Posted February 19, 2008 the stirker is not just an APC its a mobile HQ Strykers are APC's. The M1130 Commanders Vehicle version of the Stryker could be described as a "mobile HQ" but really they are nothing more (and nothing less) than wheeled APC's.
