Bremmer 0 Posted February 26, 2002 Hello all Does anybody know if its possible to get a debriefing for end loose? I've played around changing the 'End 1', 'End 2' etc tags in the briefing file, but I can't find one for loose. Any help is much appreciated. Cheers Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Acid 0 Posted February 26, 2002 there is no set default for an end lose debriefing, its something you create yourself using the different end #s in the briefing.html file. all you simply do is create an additional end # in the debriefing section of the file and enter in your end lose debrief. for example the debriefing section of the briefing file would look like:

Code Sample

<! --- -----------------------------> <! --- debriefings ---> <! --- ----------------------------->

Mission Accomplished

Excellent work. Your well coordinated attack has successfully brought the airport under our control. With the loss of their airport the Americans will have to pull out of Everon.

Mission Failed

With American aircraft still operational, and the airport remaining in enemy hands, they will be able to force their way south and push our forces back.

Mission Failed

With the American aircraft destroyed the immediate threat is removed, however with the airport still under NATO control they will be able to receive more reinforcements and advance south.

<! --- end of debriefings ---> thats all you do, then just make sure that your ending triggers have the correct debrief number set in their type field in the trigger properties window. for additional debriefs simply add more of to this section of the html file, they need to use the exact format though otherwise you can get problems. you can have up to eight debriefs and can set them to be winning, losing, or whatever, in the above code sample i posted the debrief for my newest mission im working on, in that for example i have two failed derbirefs and one winning debrief. Bremmer 0 Posted February 26, 2002 Thanks Acid The problem is that all the End# type triggers are considered win scenarios, and show the 'End Win' outro. I want an ending that will give me a debriefing, and show the 'End Loose' outro. Thanks anyway man. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
