Hi, seems that the version v1.2 of this weapons have an interesting

feature; when you use 'em in multiplayer (in any Mod's folder) the

default BIS weapons (M4A1's and M16A4's) leave x30 rounds magazines

too in the ground instead the uggly BIS bag. Another great job by

HitmanFF. Let's C ya

We're still getting that error, works fine on missions that actually use the weapon, but on certain missions (for example: Quarantine) that don't use the weapons, it starts to load up the mission, it gets to were its about to load into the briefing screen and then it bumps us back to the mission selection screen with an error stating that we've edited or deleted the wipman's m4/m16 pack, despite the fact that the mission doesn't use them at all.

We also get the "click-away" error message when in game, generally when you go to the gear menu, that states the same thing.

We didn't get it with your first version, any thoughts?

Hi, no, sadly we (HitmanFF and i) don't know why appears that damn

error message, we haven't located it yet; we thought that we had

fixed it in the v1.2, but we was wrong; it stills there. We'll apreciate

if someone could point us in the right direction because seems that

we are unable to find it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Let's C ya

so, anyone kow how to replace them with the default weapons? i assume that the texture quality is better then the BIS default one?!

Well isnt it supposed to be an addition rather than a replacement because the pack only contains versions of the M4/M4A1/M16 that are not available in vanilla Arma as is...

BTW, great work! I'm enjoying these a whole lot and they just fit so well into my offline skirmish missions

This pack iv vary nice biggrin_o.gif is there any chance in the next update that you would make some in camo and hook it up with some nice MP5s?

Hi, the textures on this pack are exactly the same ones that the BIS

weapons use; sadly... the texture mapping it's so weird and confuse

that i haven't skill enought for apply camo (woodland & desert) on

'em as i wanted in a begining, so i don't gonna do camoed versions,

sorry. I also don't gonna do (fix) the BIS MP5's because i should cry

again to the config writters named in the credits for write it and

write the animations of the weapons parts.

I wanted to do a M24's GPMG's & LMG's fixed pack with some sighted

versions of the M240B and the M249-SAW, plus fix the M24's way

of spitt the empty shells and resize the MP5's to have they're right

size instead they're actual "key ring size" and also add 'em the

naval trigger group and add a different sound with a bit more

of punch. But... i don't want to disturb those good men that

have helped me with the M4's, so no MP5's, MG's or LRR's. Let's C ya

k that to bad i guess sad_o.gif MP5s CRIONYKs was makeing some to bad you cant im sure you did in OFP righ? Also to bad on that camo deal i mean AimPoint did camo on his gun pack dont konw why you would have trouble doing so since its been done. Just by your work in OFP witch was vary good that you would be able to do someting like this crazy_o.gif

Hi, i never did any MP5 in the OFP or ArmA, mainly because i hate

'em, they're very uggly to me, so i never touched those; on the

Aimpoint's Desert weapons textures... if you look close enought to

the texture you'll notice that it don't follows a given path, like...

stripes and much less dirts (like in a woodland BDU) it's mainly made

out of a big 3 colours texture erased with various Photoshop brushes

apart of the common spray look alike brush that i use the most, for

example... for my custom faces.

For apply that kind of (wasted working) camo you don't really need

that much to know where goes each part and have an idea on the

required resize (constantly up and down) for each individual part

on the texture map; proof of this is that Aimpoint haven't found

where the feeding mouth goes, reload a magazine on his weapons...

you'll see that the feeding mouth isn't black or don't haves a

texture that maps the bolt downside or the walls of the feeding

mouth when you don't have a magazine putted on in the weapon.

So... for all this reasons and some more... i don't gonna do any

camoed weapon for the ArmA yet; maybe some G36's K pack

someday, but i can't ensure it. Let's C ya

I really appreciate the world on the M16 DMR but it is not quite right.

The M16 SDMR is single-fire only, not burst and the sight is a 6x ACOG not a Leopold like on the Mk12 SPR. Also it would be really appreciate if you could put back up iron sights on it as well.

Hi, i didn't knew that the M16A4 had a diferent configuration than

the standard M16A4... to me it looks ("it looks...") like a normal

M16A4 with a harris and that thing to rest the face for aim, that we

call: "Cantonera". If it can mount in that RAS a Leupold scope... i

don't know why it couldn't or shouldn't mount it, i've seen some

photos of Marines with the x20 mag, the harris, the LAM & the PEQ-2

with a Leupold scope and also a Leupold Mk-IV too so unless the

fire modes... i don't think that it be so bad; about the Elcan... i'll

like to have a Elcan C79A2 Wildcat for booth the M4's and the M16's

but sadly... im not a modeler and i don't know nothing about the O2,

so i can't add that piece of iron on top of the weapons, that's the

same reason why i didn't added any Eotech 553 or any Elcan Specter

DR even when i'll had loved to do it. I don't think that i gonna

touch again this weapons at least until that the ArmA2 be out

and we had to complete the weaponry available. Let's C ya

Hi, im thinking in add some more M4's/CAR15's to the weapons pack,

something like this:

Im not really sure of the need of add such body ACOG, Aimpoint, Iron

and maybe even Leupold scoped, i'll think about it depending on

they look; but i miss a good Eotech model and textures for booth

the exsiting weapons and this maybe new ones. Let's C ya

What exactly is that rifle in the screenshot? It certainly is

not a CAR-15 (as labelled), nor is it an M4 carbine. It looks

like a Colt M4 Commando (with a shortened barrel).

Hi, Bushmaster will call it: M4A3, but other companys call it: M2 SBR.

It's basically a CAR-15SB (SB = Short Barrel) like this:

Im not sure of if i gonna add 'em finaly to the weapons pack, we

already got weapons that cover the field of this ones, which only

feature will be the SB (that don't affects the game play), the SD

and the custom optics (ACOG, Aimpoint and maybe Leupold), but

maybe the RACS SF's will look pimp with this ones... i don't know;

maybe i should work into a M24's pack without the spitting shells

bug and add too resized MP5's to it, or do a MG's pack... with a

M240B ACOG, and a M249 ACOG and Aimpoint. But as i've said...

im not sure of if i gonna add this weapons to the pack or if i gonna

work on the others. Let's C ya
