almost all statistics are total misleading bullshit.. more fiction than fact.. first off the polls used do NOT count everyone they take a "sample" an extreme example would be if you asked 10 people if they were gay.. and 1 said yes.. from this you deduce that 1/10th of the worlds population is homosexual.. I know thats a streatch but its not as big of one as you kight think..

also most gun/death stats are largley biased in their facts...

a 3rd party (non pro-gun, non anti-gun.. neutral) one time researched the making of the stats that that anti-gun advocates used to make their "oh my god look!" gun/death stats and found that pets were counted as deaths by guns if they lived in a home with a gun and got sick, as was incidents resluting from a non-shooting incident in a house with a gun in it.. basically if the house had a gun in it and you fell of a chair and broke your leg they would coumt that as a firearm related incident for their stats.. strange, bizarre.. and totally true.

the 3rd party also found through interviewing 7000 criminals in prison that if the criminal though the owner of the house was home 65% would still break in, but if they believe the owner was home and had access to a firearm only 8% would still break in..

also more people die from accidents IN THEIR OWN KITCHEN than do from firearms.. we gonna ban kitchens? also 300x more people die in auto accidents than from guns.. gonna ban cars?.. more people die from chking to death than accidently shooting themselves.. gonna ban food??

sure some people die from guns (the imnproper use of them) but you cant go outlawing every single thing that somebody manages to kill themself with.

Crime goes where money is..  per capita the US is the most wealthy major country.. so crime.. even international crime gravitites to it.. take the Triads from Asia.. they all migrated over here to set up shop, as did the Russian mafia after the fall of the soviet union.. lots and lots of the really big time crom in the US is from non US sources.. like the highest crimes.. like burglery and robbery.. most of the time its not some hood wanting to score a TV or VCR.. insted its some hood wanting to score a TV or VCR that he can fence on the international black market (yes TVs and lame shit circulate on the black market too) the more wealth there is the more crime there will be.. simple.

one of the BIGGEST crimes.. auto theft is largley an international influenced crime.. every year many many many thousands of stolen cars are intercepted at docks in bin containers ready to ship oversees where their street value (value of resale) is much higher than trying to sell a *hot* car in the US..

Well all this proves, is that america catches more criminals than other countries. Im sure the congo, and third world countries and stuff have HUGE amounts of criminals, they just arnt catching them.
