I am getting the feeling (will need to try before I completely agree) that the ambient sounds will be a " Matts Arma Effects Rain" issue, where it might split people down the middle.

For example, what if you simply want a night mission, stealthy (using Vegetation fix) SD weapons on a raid for a small patrol, what happens then with distant firefight audio?

I assume its going to be setup so you can script it on and off in some way, right?

Otherwise it might be a slight show stopper for the XAM mod = its only geared toward big firefights type of thing.

Is it set so the certain ambient effects are triggered in certain areas? Or just always running no matter what?

Version 1.4 is now finished ! smile_o.gif

The MOD will be in dowload today on the BI forums.

The installation file will be protected by password which will be given Friday 21th december on the BI forums too.

No, it is 20 km wide, The entire map is 400km squared.
