ProfTournesol 956 Posted February 2, 2008 So, some British tanker (beta) to suite with Spad nice tanks : The face mask is removable as the gas mask. The tanker wears a service dress tunic over an overall (with some oil spots on it), which is over the trousers and puttees. Can't find anywhere the British tank corps arm patch (which is supposed to be white), only cap badges... @HxCxFxL : thanks again for the pics, that helps me a lot ! ProfTournesol 956 Posted February 5, 2008 @ petrtlach : very nice work, could i use this machinegun for this WW1 mod ? I'm no weapon specialist (nor weapon modeller or texturer...)... @ HxCxFxL : i do REALLY appreciate your help, nice sounds will enhance a lot this mod... Â I've finished the French tanker, i got some problems with making a convincing German one... it seems that the most common German tanker doesn't differ from other soldiers... You are right ProfTournesol, they worn mostly the same uniforms like the infantry. Look at that picture, there you can see a german tanker in an "A7V Sturmpanzerwagen- Wotan". http://www.bredow-web.de/Panzer_....V-c.jpg Cuase there where no special tank corps for that time, the crew consists of artillery corps- gun crew infantery corps- gun crew motorized corps- driver They all worn their original corps uniforms (Germans)

ProfTournesol 956 Posted February 12, 2008 Ok some news n' pics (planes are from shinkansen's planes pack) : French pilot, British pilot (fur coat), French tanker : German pilot, German tanker (very beta, don't like it that much) : German landwehr, German stormtroopers (grenadier, armour body and helmet plate, and NCO with mp18) : @ HxCxFxL : yes, i think i'll stick to that, anyway i haven't any German tank yet...i'm waiting for Spad, who is hard working on his VERY NICE WH40K mod ! @ petrtlach : thanks for the MG (i'll PM you to see how i can get it...) and the pics...they are high quality ones ! @ bennie1983nl : thanks, but i already have one thanks to Reyhard. I've had a lot of fun with air battles (spad and shinkansen planes), very nice to play with those slow speed planes. I added a script to the planes so that when the pilot ejects from his burning plane, he doesn't have any parachute...

ProfTournesol 956 Posted February 23, 2008 Ok, news of the week : i'm working on field artillery guns and crewmen, focusing on main country artillery workhorses : The famous French 75mm (i'm quite proud of the empty shells that you may notice behind it, ejected after each shot with a metallic noise, and disappearing after a few minutes for performance issue) : Then the British 18 pounder : And the German FK 96 : Next i'll work on the Austrian 8 cm FK M5 and the Russian Putilov 76,2 mm. By the way, some help is needed : i'm looking for Austrian and Russian artillery crew uniforms (precisely, how they differ from infantry uniforms). Thanks in advance
emperor77 0 Posted February 23, 2008 This is very nice, but could you add some dust and dirt to the wheels and the panels front side, i think that would make them look more like in battle. But i say the modles are very nice.
