When a car is stolen she shoots me so long down until the other guys bring the car BACK! I tryed to RUN AWAY but she awaited me at the tent!! I tryed to hide, but she EVER found ME! OneManShow 0 Posted December 8, 2007 About markers off/on, just play a real game as cops against skilled civils and u will see its hard enough even with markers ON. Civils are twice more than cops, when they own the 6 businesses they earn 15k/paycheck while cops earn only 2.5k. Cops have free weapons, yes, but its easy to cut down their ammo supply by mining the road or just by destroying the convoy. Then, cops will have to buy weapons, so, rob the bank every time u can and they will be low in cash too, making the game impossible for them. Well, I brought it back as soon as possible while getting a load of Satchel Charges too. But you must say, we were some pretty good terrorists yesterday And hell, i blew the sh*t out of Conan with those charges Any news on the next version? How about utilicing the accessible houses as civis homes, then make a script that let the civis to have a safe to put their money in, so they have the choice to withraw from the bank and go and put it in their own safes, this way when the bank gets rob and you die at list you have something. Could also do with a superstore where you can buy stuff, once you have all this stuff in your inventory you drop it home and you can make a bomb for example, so a satchel gets camcreated for the player to grab it and use it... That will give us terrorist too. The safes in the houses will give us burglers, and it would give us victims too, so the thing isn't just between the civis and the cops, you'll also have people looking for revenge, and gangs will be created between players, and so on. Peaty we can't shoot from vehicles with small arms, but imagine if there is a gang war going around, at the same time the cops are trying to kip the bank and the weapons truk safe, people robing each other, civis getting payed to kill someone, hey there you'll have hitmen too. deady 0 Posted December 8, 2007 Civs avoid the silly increasing respawn delay by just going back to role selection and rejoining. The possibilities are uged, but one cans be sure that when he is entering the game, he will a have to drive all across the map for hours before geting fun. I have some proposition: -Add a goals: like being rich. The first at 1 million win as example. -Rent a car near the jail release. As soon as I am sent to jail by "mistake" I leave, - Change the spot for drug dealing, put it closer to the city, then police will have something to do instead of watching the bank, -Why not puting a mission where you have to ship something with a plane? It is funny to have to land in a crop whithout 3d view. One has to pay a lot, and if he crash, he lost everything... -Would it be possible to add some mission like, kill this one, or still something from a garage... I prefer to play cop but when i play civ i like a bit of danger so i play as a criminal and I often try to mug ppl like this. Whats annoying is I always get kicked or banned. What are the cops for? How is it a role playing game if you get kicked when you do something bad, why not send the cops to arrest me? As a cop i like the challenge of trying to arrest a civ who has murdered so why kick? Turned out that he didn´t know about the diagonal running yet .. and he wasn´t a good marksman either Sadly my ArmA crashed just at the moment when i tried to rob the bank and got into a point blank shootout with one of the cops.. Nice to see that someone developing this mission further with that nice suggested features. EDIT: , brought by "TeRp".Tomorrow we will also get BLUE and RED blinking lights additionally to the sirens!!! Simply amazing! "TeRp" claimed he build that in, in NO Time - so my questions to Issetea and Fewo is: Why don't you had build that in, even if it was already suggested in that thread? I know its not a major feature, but its these small features which adds a lot of atmosphere to gane and they are fast coded-in. I hope you will contact each other, because "TeRp" is also a german, and we all want you to build that-in in 1.1 ("TeRp" agreed to give you the code) Sadly, during a short talk with Issetea, he stated that they wont build-in votes, nor will they change the guild-system for the upcomming 1.1 Current development is running "slow" as Issetea must learning programming stuff and else.... Its the optimal compromise between marker:off and marker:on TeRp must contact Issetea and Fewo, im sure the would appreciate any help they get, because they are also busy with other things. By the way, tell TeRp that im currently making a better sound-file for the siren's. Its a bit hard to find good quality sounds around the internet and i have much work to "remaster" and "rework" them. McBoeInact 0 Posted December 10, 2007 both together, and it works really well!! no civs going mad deathmatching, and it allows the civ some strategy. plus car chases are good because civs now have the chance to give the cops the slip outdriving. ill look for some sirens my bro has a lot of GB's of movie sound effects. Also whats the chance of moving the civi spawn away from the bank? 20ft away sucks. Also gun shop is way to close to bank. Ive seen games start with the bank being held up within 40 seconds. Oops almost forgot. The holster pistol thing needs to be fixed. It sucks that you can put your pistol away in 1sec and it takes like 5 to 10 to get it back out thru inventory. Yesterday i´ve been chased by some of those scum at night and didn´t notice it just unitl the guy showed up besides my window ... at first i thought i was being haunted by freakin ghosts or something.
