Savegame question

Hi guys,

I apologyze if, as is probable, this is already been asked ...

I am trying to use the "savegame" cheat (?) during a mission within a campaign. The command I type is correctely recognized by ARMA because I see a text popping up un the upper left angle of the screen. The problem is that is seems that nothing is saved in truth... how can I reload a mission saved in that way ?!

but I am talking of the possibility to have multiple saves, using the command (SHIFT / -)SAVEGAME. The savegame you are referring to is in the menu and is only one.

The cheat doesnt work anymore but it doesnt matter, just play in cadet mode and you have unlimited saves. You can also edit the cadet mode so its exactly the same as veteran mode in the difficulty options.

the SAVEGAME cheat does work,

in fact it works that way :

if you press manually 'save', you will have 'load'.

if you reach a saving checkpoint in mission, it will be in 'retry'.

if you use SAVEGAME, it will be in 'retry'.

IVe tried that in past and doesnt work. It did work in ofp but not arma for me. Thats why i resorted to esc save game and you have the load/retry options like you said.

True, my apologizes. Damn, I was sure it worked like OFP... but thinking back I never needed SaveGame cheat as I play in cadet mode ! (yup, shame on me, will say some : )

So, another lil' bug on the bottom of the long long list, heh, BIS ?
