bravo 6 0 Posted November 10, 2007 oh well, i thought i had finally found my favorite compass for ever and ever.. i guess i have to wait a little more.. by the way, i have some problems reading your .avi files. the image appears grey and nothing running, except time. some of your Mods are really proper edit: <s>if i may, i think the PROPER_Gameplay_Weapon_Sway_Reworked.pbo need to be revised, its not natural, imo. It feels like the game is lagging or as if im playing a spectrum game.</s> i noticed its not that pbo wich is causing that feeling it might be other.. I my biggest wish, since 5 years. Please make a mod that allows to keep the fire mode (single, burst, auto) after using another item (i.e. binocs) and then returning to the weapon. Ok, thanks Q! I hope that this is only temporarily and will be changed later, since I like that all signatures is white, but not that it makes mission editing vehicleless... So, is it possible to make signatures white, and have vehicles in the editor? That would be great. Either load both or just the @PROPER modfolder (or the way you named it). The general question is whether you want / need the particular functionally provided by the addon. Btw I have a suggestion: Swimming will not remove most or all your weapons. Maybe some can get lost while swimming, but at least not as fast, or as much as in original ArmA. I really hope you could make a .pbo where you loose drastically less and you lose it only after some time, not 10 secs after plumbing into the water. I feel ArmA has either too much loss of weapons, or loss of weapons happens too fast. Some kind of balancing or seriously removal of this feature would be great. I'm not thinking this as a cheat, only that it makes swimming for safety or whataver case more useful. When we finally can be able to swim in a game, it got turned down by losing all the weapons, making us go away from that useful feature. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Ever swimmed with clothes and boots? The drag/friktion is big. The "swim-sprint" is a good idea though! The thing I miss most regarding swimming is the ability to stand up in shallow water. It is possible to assign different animations like swimRun, swimWalk etc. However I cannot find any way to activate the fatigue effect for swimming units. Again no idea how to disable the drop equipment effect to.. Once you are testing it stuff related to swimming, you become aware again that the feature is very poorly implemented in general. Stuntman 0 Posted November 18, 2007 If it is too much work to fix the swimming speed, and the equipment thing as well, then its alright, its just a suggestion and you must accept it yourself. I have another suggestion too, which I think is hardcoded as well, but its very, very annoying....the damn steering reset...please....get that annoying thing off... I just hate it, almost impossible to handle a vehicle....makes handling slower and less precise....
