What in the game do you like playing as most? An average soldier, machine gunner, sniper, blackop, officer, mortar, grenadier, or some rocket troop, or other?

Either a regular soldier, SF operator (preferably with a weapon with grenadelauncher) or AT soldier.

Also I like being the gunner in vehicles.

Officer, all the way. At least, if I'm actually playing an officer, not a squad leader. So basically I only play CoC missions.

Apart from that, being a grunt is a lot of fun, too.

Well, due to most of my time in OFP being spent touring the editor fooling around, I always end up placing myself as a Colonel, but I never use one of the default OFP units... and besides pilot, the category "driver" should have been featured too (I fly and drive alot ) ... The category "other" should be reserved for civvy stuff since medics are also important to be featured on their own...

My favourite role in OFP is that of machinegunner. To my great delight Armed Assault caters even better for the machinegunners than the original OFP . My second choice is that of AT specialist, but only with the Panzerfaust3 which the BWMod kindly gave LLW permission to release. The optics for that weapon are outstanding.

My fav. role is the infamous SpecOp-AT-Sniper-Pilot - or "other" to make it short.

Grenadier and Tanker (not on the poll) are my favorites. Versatility is the issue for me.

Pilot, definetly. I've been known to shoot people trying to pilot a Littlebird... on a public server.

If I'm on the ground, my preferred mean of fighting is a sort of an specop - alone or with a small group (usually a pair, with TS; depends on with whom I'm playing), evading enemy patrols (or completely eliminating them) and equipped with either long-range weapons, or silenced ones. In essence, you might compare me to Hoot or Shughart/Gordon from the film adaption of BHD.

Playing as a medic isn't bad, especially in other games, but I usually tend to get killed if I'm one.

It depends... in MP when we (me & friends) are playing COOP I'm a squad leader on ground, my friend provides me an air support, and other command Abrams. You know: I look for AA guns -> Abrams destroy it, and then our air support blows enymy armor up, and finally me and my squad takes the territory.

Plus officer has smoke granades!
