Each week (hopefully) there will be a news item regarding this 'company'

This week is a sneak preview of some trials work and a reaction from the local citizens..

Hopefully all will be sorted before the next issue..

At the moment CBF Shipbuilding are going for larger 'objects', although there will be smaller watercraft configured as vehicles.

CBF Shipbuilding will be continuing its RN involvment much as it did with construction of ships for the RN that happened to serve in 1982.

The company is also continuing its involvement with the civilian market.

Will there be anychance of working turrets? perhaps combined with the mando gun/missile scripts?

There will be weaponary, not sure on how they will be set up yet but there is the intention

I suspect the site team will give a report to the press in the next couple of days, or at least we can but hope, maybe they will let the community know more about what its in the dock. wink_o.gif

Perhaps the turrets/missiles being seperate vehicles using that script Gnat used to attach the blackhawks to his ship

so you have an immobile ship with fully working turrets

once we get that and some decent landing boats I'll make an invasion mission, like a modern D-day

lol

UNN wrote our own custom scripts to do that already. Its all in hand.

I think CBFASI has pretty much covered all that, with his work for the FLK mod in OFP. But we are always looking to improve on things. It would be nice to see mobility, for example. Added to the equation, in a reasonable way. Unfortunately so far, the best we can do, is to keep trying.

The only battleship/cruiser I know of in the Royal Navy that would need a full 900 feet of dry dock would be the Admiral class Battlecruiser HMS Hood...

The inferance and past tense is rather insulting, think carefully about putting such a post when you are so new to the community (Sep 07 it says).

I have intentions of release's. much depends on problems being solved, the biggest is working out how to get UV maps from my models to texture them decently.
