AsRock+SD 0 Posted October 12, 2007 Getting a little annoyed about this. Anyone found a way to fix it with 7.9 \ 7.10 drivers ?.

kklownboy 43 Posted October 12, 2007 AS Rock, i fixed it with the HDR setting. Mine was default at 8, and any AA would give that effect. Setting to 16 works with AA. 2900xt
Dwarden 1124 Posted October 12, 2007 i want to ask if You use Adaptive AntiAliasing and if Yes then what type ? supersampling or multisampling ? btw. this option is now available in 7.10 drivers via CCC ...
Horus 83 Posted October 12, 2007 @Dwarden which is better for Arma supersampling or multisampling ?
kklownboy 43 Posted October 12, 2007 i don't use any AA at all from the CCC. I really dont see any improvement with Adaptive anti aliasing ( for this game), and regular AA in the CCC breaks AA in game. When setting my HDR to 16, i have to reset my AA in game. Its always Disabled when i start. But at least the issue goes away. Its not as nice as the 7.8s and 8 HDR tho, but i would like a driver i can use for more than one game... Dwarden 1124 Posted October 13, 2007 aAA should be visible at trees and foliage because of AA applied on alpha ... tho this maybe question to BIS coders because i don't know if ingame AA is able utilize enabled adaptiveAA in drivers (AA is application controlled) difference between MSAA and SSAA should be mainly in perf but if i remember reviews of MSAA transparent AA on Nvidia they said difference in quality is very small while with SSAA it should be noticeable (do some PNG in each mode and compare)
bravo 6 0 Posted October 13, 2007 do you guys have this problem? i open ArmA, after a while i Alt-Tab and go to FireFox, navigate, and with the recent versions counting from version 7.6 when i open any web page and when i scroll the screen becomes very laggy and slow. Its really annoying. I start noticing after version 7.6 You guys experience this aswell?
kklownboy 43 Posted October 13, 2007 Bravo 6, i have always had that. Well there where times (1.05? 7.3 ect) where Alt-Tab was a bust. but when i ever go into FF or some other prog after a few min of Arma it is molassas. Alot of games do this, but others dont. Its usual PC gaming thang.
