Do we know if Arma supports Mirrored Normal Maps? An explanation. The basic idea is: In videogames usually you build the model, and then texture only half of the mesh. Allowing the other half of the mesh share the same texture. Normal maps are different since the colours in normal maps affect how the model is illuminated. In theory you can't use the same normal map on both sides of the mesh, because one side should result like lit in a reverse manner Now, some engines correct this behaviour, so you can still use the "half textured mesh" approach.
