I am still wondering why the graphic addicts are looking this games? The best is always been in other things. Gameplay foremost all the rest.

If ArmA had graphics that good the game would be played on very small maps, without that many units. Or at the very least it would not be the very large, totally open worlds we have now.

Id rather ArmA and ArmA 2 have lesser graphics personally... the maps could be bigger, view distance higher, and much more could be done with the gameplay that can't be achieved with top of the line graphics. As opposed to a quick, one time "Wow... these graphics are really good" followed by "You know... this game kinda sucks"

Anyway, I think the covers are ruined by one bad decision - that American flag which just looks big and ugly there. Without it those covers would look excellent.

Maybe that cover will appeal to the Americans, but it's not a good choice for the other territories with that flag in it IMO

Indeed, even as an american I don't really much like it, minus that and it looked great, though I'd rather see this, cut off at the sides of the soldier though. Reason being is...well...does that certain pose and weapon look kinda familiar to you?

Most of you guys are only able to see things negative. I think the pictures are one of the best art which is made for a game. Why is their such a large us flag? cause its part of the game! In the game the good guys are the US-Soldiers and us-people are patriots! Thats what the pictures show! See it from the art-side and not from your indisposition.

The point is it doesn't look good there. Besides, the game is being sold in the rest of the world too.

The marines in the pic look cool, but the flag doesn't.

Indeed. I don't mind the Osprey and the American soldiers. However I do mind it being like some ad for "Uncle Sam wants YOU!" or "Join the Army today!"

Sure, 300 million people or so lives in USA, but the rest of the world is overall fairly US-hostile, so why make it look like a super-glorifying advertisement for the USMC?

They should town down the "americaness" in it since to at least me that flag is disturbing together with the rest. They could just have a burning sky, or a red desert sunset or something

You do realize that the US will still be the dominant force in the game no matter where in the world it is sold, right? So why should the promo picture be diffrent just becuae other parts of the world are going to get the game? Its still the same game with the US as the good guys... if people can't accept the fact of how things are, don't buy the game. Simple as that.

You misunderstood what I was saying. I just said the flag on the cover looks ugly. Whatever country it was, it would probably just look ugly there. I'm not going to avoid the game just because it has Americans in it, even if I do wish they would use other countries just to be original
