Attach Satchels to vehicles.

Hey anyone figured out a command to get ai to attach and detonate this....This addon is just perfect for an insurgent or assassination mission....Ooo the possibilities!!!!!

No, forget about making a satchel object visible. A much

better feature to add would be making the devices explode

automatically when the vehicle is driven away.

The morale of this story is: Don't waste CPU cycles attaching an object to a vehicle, use the CPU for something slightly more useful.

Loved the feature in FDF and was very much looking forward to put this to my other 'standard' addons.

Found some bugs though taht make it kinda worthless - probably conflicts with other addons as noone here seems to have noticed anything weird.

1. action menu entry for attaching only appears near empty vehicles

2. detonating satchels whilst driving a rigged vehicle destroys the vehicle, but player stays alive (the infamous 2time suicide bomber is back biggrin_o.gif )

This was one of the greatest feature of OFP FDF-mod and nice to see it back in feature in arma, long waited triely this.

Yes, I also liked this in the FDF mod so I added it to my own non-public released mod for me and my buddies.

Dude, your code looks very very much like the OFP FDF version.

I think you might want to give them some credit! huh.gif

All crew (except tank crew) will be killed on the explosion.

Ther is one strange bug i can not fix:

If you can't attach a satchel to a vehicle wich is not empty you have to reveal the vehicle first (default: right mouse button). This happens only with With [Options>Difficulty: "Auto report" = Disabled]

This is great and opens up some interesting possibilities for mission making. One thing I would like to see is a bit more time setting the bomb and an animation (maybe the healing animation) - this would better approximate the rigging of the device smile_o.gif

if youve got quike fingers then its great for ataching satchels to a slow moving veichels!

best thing is attaching it to veichels and waiting for someone to get in and drive away then... BOOM! tounge2.gif

I love this addon, but I've found that I can't detonate the satchels remotely anymore, don't know if anyone else has found this...........

It's possibly a conflict with another addon but not certain.
