BIS MODEL INTO GAME

Hit another snag with model editing, not sure if anyone has hit this yet in O2 modeling.

i seem to have an issue with a 'floating hat'.

that is an ingame shot.

yet that is a shot of the same unit in Bulldozer/as it appears in O2.

Any advice fellas? help.gificon_rolleyes.gif

It's simple hat must have your name Head in the name property.

Selection Head and adds your hat, the whole rennome Head.

another issue i have encountered is that my face and hands do not show up (custom face and hands) it us just the evil BIS shade of white.

Advice?

Big thanks for this great tutorial!

But for now - i got only one problem ... with face,after deleting helmet.

What i forget to do ?

thats the rvmat that makes the shadows work. look under texture path theres the thing to fix

_AS, aka soft shadow map. You need to use the map with a civy that doesn't use a hat or helmet and it'll work fine.

where do i get that ? or what i need to fix in Oxy ?

just dont remember any civil pack to extract ...

Just change to RVMAT used by the head to:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">ca\characters\data\soldier_captive_hhl.rvmat

and you wont need to edit any of the RVMATs themselves.

Guys help me out please, I was making the unit after JB's tutorial, but something is wrong i can't run arma! This error pops out when i try to launch it!

EDIT:

Prbolem solved!! Thanks to Linker Split! The error was showing because of a bin config for a GUI running at the same time smile_o.gif
