w39 mod

Recommended Posts

w39mod goes to Arma.

Currently we are doing new textures for our models, and normal mapping. Bellow You can see first steps:

It's need more work, to much gloss etc, but is very promising in my opinion.

That is a Polish tank, is W39 mod about Polish forces in 1939?

I'm very pleased to see more 1930s hardware being built.

Have you give up your OFP project? But I'm afraid it's difficult to play large WW2 screnario in ARMA because of the high PC request. It wont be nice just like playing CS for WW2 game with few troops in the game.

adolf saw to future, he saw the modern kids and teenagers playing arma, but so laggy.

thats why he decidet to give em something to +play, and sent troops to north africa!! wich has...

umm..

-sand

-sand

-sand

-.. more sand...

-few little towns

-few trees also

-coatal line

that wont be too hard to run, even with arma.

and thats why mehman and others are making ¨their mod burning sands 42, based to north african campaing.

It is very nice to see an update, especially of the soldier models! The one thing that caught my eye however was the shape of the waist. Will the tunic pockets be brought out further to enhance the shape?

infantry...ghm... frankly speaking that's awfull reskins... looks like you used  the same model/textures for all the units just changing basic color smile_o.gif i can't say i like it. +I just don't get why face's textures are not defined...

I hope that's some alpha stage and you consider to rework it ?

As about weapons they look much better иге i guess at the moment they are just ofp ports ? I hope you'll rework them to use normal?specular maps soon.

Quote[/b] ]and recon tank TKS (with normal mapping)

i see it's mapped but a lot of textures are missing. Are you still mapping models in o2 with a lot of small textures ? If course random numbers, tracks, and other textures with alpha channels deserve separate texture, but for the rest... you're just creating performance problems.
