[*]Artillery support if the fireteam leader carries it. Whereas Resistance forces radio is only intended for calling reinforcement. dkell3 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Yes, thanks TB. The white veg issue was solved, was being the word. I had some problems though, after installing Burn's Islands. I could no longer ad an Apache to any editor missions, nor any other vehicles, due to an error prompt saying something to the effect of,cannot create origins/night.So I reverted back to the original islands,with the white veg. oh well. Pancho 0 Posted September 5, 2007 The AKS-74U looks weird compared to the other AK´s. It looks somewhat like plastic. Anyone knows of an addon to swap it? By the way, I just buried one of my soldiers today. One of my soldiers was killed in an ambush and when I approached his corpse to retrieve his weapon, the option to bury him appeared. I clicked on that and after a while he was covered with dirt. This is amazing! A very nice touch and it adds tons of realism to the game. What is condition for drag command to appear, because I want to create mission where you have to drag your teammate across battlefield, thought setdammage will do it, but it didn't? Weird, Editor's units aren't related to the islands, they are completely separate files, I don't see why shouldn't the apache work properly on the new islands, reinstall everything and make sure you do it correctly. I do use FFUR with the Mr Burns islands selection since a while and have never experienced any issue with'em. SLX feature, apparently it was wanted. 2. This is not indispensably required, but why not. 3. This has been added and taken out more than once from the previous packs due to peformance. 4. (Even if i don't like "modern" mods that much).Some vegetation's texture bug (screenshot from Malden), i did apply the hotfix and chose resistance vegetations and houses : EDIT : sorry, i didn't realize this prob was already reported, i'm just old and blind ***:banghead: Me too, I have the same problem. A solution please. Thank you thunderbird, wonderfull work i'm having the same problem. great work btw tb. the AI seems to retreat way to often.....leaving me alone to fight everyone. the guns are really quiet too. enemy spots me from a mile away pretty easily. dallasfan315 0 Posted September 6, 2007 since i'm here i'll give a list of things i see going crazy so far.....when i need a medic, random soldiers come and drag me to random spots. it's funny but doesn't help much. i can't put fires out but instead just crouch close to them for a long time. need animations to show putting out the fire and burying the dead. AI doesn't stay and fight for very long. the AI can see and shoot extremely far. when i shoot and kill....blood doesn't show and the soldiers sometimes jump pretty far. medic should run around and heal it seems. i love this mod and i'm not trying to nitpick. keep up the good work. dallasfan315 0 Posted September 6, 2007 one more thing.....i like the dragging but where do i drag soldiers?? should make the medics hang back and be able to erect medic tents. that would be cool. drag wounded to tent and they get healed. just a thought. dallasfan315 0 Posted September 6, 2007 Hi,This is what TB told me to do for white textures and it worked fine Reinstall the 'data.pbo' / 'dta3d.pbo' / HWTL folder by first deleting those already existing in @ffsx2007/dta and reinstall'em by simply running the Launcher but during the installation of the wanted files, don't install 'vegetation replacement'. dallasfan315 0 Posted September 6, 2007 I guess I'll keep posting. I'm playing the mod at the moment. If you play Bomberman you'll notice how extremely reluctant the AI is to go to the waypoint. Example: Radio charlie to engage the convoy and then go watch what the squad does. The AI need a major overhaul. These guys don't fight to the death like warriors. They run in circles and dive a lot. Hopefully they can be trained to do there mission. Bravo squad does the same thing. They run in and once the bullets fly........they retreat like brave sir robin. Needs major work. While dragging your able to ski down mountains....it's fun if you like skiing but it's dumb to see yourself flying down a mountain dragging your dying buddy. Try it....it's fun. If that is possible, and so far I found out that everything is possible in OF engine. Mission is very similar to "After Montignac" from Cold war campaign, but now you are supposed to have wounded soldier that you have to save. Thanks anyway! I was gunna post a link to the rules and say the mods get angrey when these are broken, edit a few and be carful.. I try to stick up for fellow forum goers and be helpful but I have a fear that the mods will say im trying to self-moderate the forums and act the moderator ect. Now, I've a problem: i installed FFSX 2.0 version and I installed extra pack...The problem is this: when I launch the mod, there's a error screen and the game exit, here is the error: Resource.cpp/RscDisplayFilter/Notebook.ValueMission: Undefinited base class 'RscObjNotebookEs' why I have this problem?
