(or use the button marked `UV`on the Edit toolbar) You will probably want to unwrap some complex parts of the model manually beforehand though. Pathy 0 Posted August 23, 2007 When you've unwrapped your model (as you appear to have), make a plain single colour texture of the dimensions you want, and background map it onto your unwrapped model. Then go to the 'UV editor' menu in the UV editor window, export, tick the top and the bottom boxes (not sure about texture outline), specify the dimensions of the texture you want, and save. Then open up the .emf file thats made in windows picture and fax viewer, save as a .png. Then open up the PNG in photoshop (or your tool of choice), and copy it onto your (same dimensioned) plain texture. At this point it's useful to save, reload the texture, and if you've done it right, the lines shown on the texture should follow the lines of the model. Chris Young 3 Posted August 28, 2007 Yes, I'm working on the part which uses the Unwrap function to unwrap more complex structures like cylinders.
