BSOD while playing ArmA

Recommended Posts

I get a Blue Screen of Death after basically booting up ArmA on my computer. Sometimes I can get so far as to load a mission but while in loading it will BSOD.

It mentions an error with ati3duag.dll? And PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA...

System specs:

1.86Ghz Core 2 Duo

ATI Radeon x1300 Pro GPU

1 GB DDR2 RAM

100Mb plus of free HDD

I've already updated the drivers to v7.7 which is the latest for the GPU and all other drivers have been updated as well.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Have you tried an older version of the vidcard drivers to see if you get this error?

Also, could be a conflict with another version of the vidcard drivers.

There is a little utility on the ATI site that will clean your system completely of ATI drivers before you re-install a new set.
