Hexdump 0 Posted February 21, 2002 i recently bought some 3d glasses from edimensional. first of all: they're pretty cool and OFP looks really amazing, except for one very annoying flaw: the backplane (=sky) and the aiming reticle (and also HUDs and target boxes in ACs and tanks) are not at the right depth - they both appear at screen depth and thus confusing the #### out of my brain's 3d perception making accurate aiming impossible. i have a gforce2 mx 32mb and i use all the latest drivers including nvidia's latest stereo 3d driver. although the driver provides in-game hotkeys for adjusting the backplane and screen depth they don't seem to work for me (for all games btw..). has anyone run into the same problem and could provide a solution? regards hexdump

mikko123 0 Posted March 10, 2002 get the newest nvidia drivers, like the 27.20s or 27.50s. Also, tweak the stereo separation to a comfortable level. I have them and they are unbelievable after a few minutes of tweaking.

First of all set the stereo separation to a comfortable level (ctrl-f3 and ctrl-f4). First set it to zero by holding down ctrl-f3 and then start to increase the separation with ctrl-f4. When the separation is enough set the (whatsitsname) with ctrl-f9 and ctrl-f10. I hope these instructions are not too confusing.
