We all remember William Porter's post about Sahrani Soccer Schooling, and for those who do not, here is a reminder. (http://www.armedassault.com/william/?p=22)

Despite William is not among us. and fighting on the frontline, we'd wouldnt keep you from some unique footage that was taken a day after William shot this picture below.

Yes, you heard it right, we have found real footage of William playing a friendly game of soccer!  Once i saw this almost a year old footage,  i thought it would be a nice idea to organize a Sahrani Soccer Cup!

at this time, im making arrangements with the sahrani local officials, on when we could keep this tournament and what legal papers we need.

For now, check the footage of William, Frank, Eddie and Steve, and some guys from the royal guard playing a friendly match of football on this exclusive footage.

This is a very interesting mod though. I can just see filtering for "football" or "soccer" in the MP filter. lol Never thought id be doing that in ArmA.

this is advancing evry day so hold tight guys JerryHopper is handling the Press Relations side so he has last say on its realise date also gives me more time ot get help and code some more actions like over head kick and volly

this looks very sweet! How does the kicking of the ball work? Is it scripted or is it a addon?

the kick is scripted with a key bind to the F key also i added Chip command binded to the R key and if you hit F + R it chip's and shoots new video is comming once i add a few more bits and bobs. im looking for some sound files for

GOAL.

Referee whistles (start,halftime,end).

Ambience sounds for the crowd.

and any more you can think of that would be good

Ok now 100% Multi player WooT again thanks T_D for reworking the kick part to bypass the setvol bug in arma.

Actions are now

Space bar = Kick ball (long pass)

F = shoot ball (long pass above the ground)

R = Chip the ball (Can be headbutted)

Is the clan tag necessary for a single map? If UNA is a mod tag and the mod is only used for this football mission, please use an addon tag instead. There's a sticky about the standard on this forum for more info.
