Is this just a retexture mod?

You ever retextured any units? Modified the game? icon_rolleyes.gif

You should rephrase your question.

You obviously didn't look at all the screens. If you had, you'd have noticed the new weapons.

Good job

I didn't mean any offense to his hard work, however the just is still justified for my own question.

I've done various work as video editor and as a graphic artist and illustrator so I've had my share of "I've put 15 days into this work and all you can say is bleh?". So if you're releasing something to the public, grow a thick skin and take some criticism. Have I personally, retextured units? No, but at the same time I recognize the hardwork, however there's such a glut of "mods" that are literally just retextures it makes you question "why."

Because of the lack of information given here in the first post, I had to question. I could have put it nicely with whipped cream and a cherry ontop, but really I'm more blunt and to the point than anything.

You could add weapons in via some 3rd party mod mod and just take a pic of some new camo you put on and call it a mod, but without even knowing what's going on except for the camo and some minor modifications that I'm not going to notice in the first place, yeah..

The "just" needs a proper response for it to become unjustified, which it now is from the second link of the author.

Quote[/b] ]Hi, its Arremba San Zorzo from OFP PedagneMOD.

I working on Italian version of ArmA.

The first step will be simply to re-textures the exiting BIS models with italian colours.

The second step will be simply to convert the PedagneMOD models from OFP to ArmA.

The third step will be to create new models and upgrade the exiting (and i hope to make also a campaign).

Now, are ready to be completed:

Italian Army-Lagunari soldiers

Italian Army-Granatieri soldiers

Italian Navy-San Marco soldiers

Italian Navy-Comsubin commandos

Italian Army and Navy Pilot

Italian Army and Navy Crew

Carabinieri Parà company

Carabinieri MP

Carabinieri Combat version

Carabinieri civil version (adapted from BIS east officer)

Ar70/90 assault rifle

Motobike

AH60 Italian Army chopper

AV8b Italian Navy

M113 Italian Army and Navy

MBT Ariete (adapted from BIS M1 Abramas)

Land Rover Italian Army, Navy and Carabinieri

VTML Iveco Italian Army and Navy (adapted from BIS HMMV)

Zodiac

Sorry i can't show any picture on ArmA game because when i have tried to show my soldier, the game crashed "OUT of Memory....". I play to the original ArmA game never problem. The textures are edited with Photoshop, saved in .TGA and after saved with Textview in .PAA. The model are edited with P3D swap utility. If someone can help me, i will be very happy.

Finally i post a link of PedagneMOD fleet in 3D studio ambient, "Maestrale" fregate and "San Giorgio" LPD:

@LandrosRadick

Every criticism must be admitted.

I understand your point of view, but i understand (and also i say thanks to him) the Shashman point of view.

Many time, persons that speak the same language has a misunderstanding when the comunication its only writed. You must think, what happened when the persons do not speak the same language!

Shasman reply its only an invite to avoid a too direct language that can appear low politely, and an invite to better explain your thought (as you explain in the second reply).

I say you "excuseme" if i have belived that this post can explained all the PedagneMOD works.

I hope that the sequel of the PedagneMOD likes you.

I am an architect, and i know exactily what mean "bleh" on his creative works. It's a part of the hard joke that we choise in our life.

Ciao e thank for your time and your consideration.

Arremba
