maty1007 0 Posted June 27, 2007 Hi everyone, I have just brought OFP again after about 3 years without playing it. i know arma is the new game on the block now but its to good for my pc. I know nothing about patches/addons/multiplayer e.t.c. so wondering if anyone could tell me any critical patches and stuff i need to play multiplayer (if people still play multi) or any decent addons to make single player better. cheers maty Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

For starters go here: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/download/index3.html and patch your game to v1.96 so you can later use all the other goodies (mods, addons ...). the_bengine 0 Posted July 2, 2007 Hey maty. I've got exactly the same story. Just come back to OFP after a long break away (in fairness, a lot of that break involves Arma). I'm really suprised at how vibrant the community still is around OFP. I've been tracing all the best mods to install and the best thing to do, as someone mentioned earlier, is get up to version 1.96. Then try the FFUR - SLX mods, starting with version 1.0 (around 400mb) then work up to 1.05. The gun sounds and increased model detail make the game soooo much better.
