Quote[/b] ]Armed Assault: A handle count leak is no longer noticed during game play in Task Manager. Further details can be found in topic number 737-27467

https://a248.e.akamai.net/f....es.html

we already had that in a hotfix..

so what does this new driver bring to us then?

better performance?

Anyone checked to see if the custom faces dont show up f*cking white as paper with this new driver?

i think that has nothing to do with the drivers..

though i installed the 7.6, im running arma and so far i dont have any problems.

The only problems i see and notice are not video drivers related.

no there isnt,

this is the problem of how ATI cards handles jpg format in game and this affect almost every game i have seen, which is there since R 8500 time

well tried the new drivers, and I find the game pretty smooth with them. Allso frames dosent drop below 20 in paraiso anymore, during evolution. SO im pleased with the new 1's

with these drivers, I've been experiencing wierd crashes, where monitor just goes black, and I can hear that the game is running, and after that my monitor just says no signal huh.gifhuh.gif

Well this driver worked wonders on my system. It seems ATI has done some work with the Arma code especially the 1.08 patch. With new patches and driver releases Arma playability will increase with smooth game play and better frame rates.

After installing ati hotfix on my x1950xt game was unplayable becouse of stuttering. Now after new drivers its gone.

And to fix pale custom faces you can use paa image format.

it fixed my problem where the game restart 20 minutes into playing online.. it was weird.. single player was smooth with no problem.. in multi it would restart

also it does not have the problem of shuttering every 10 sec like the hot fix did

I can confirm.. on my 1900XTX this driver is perfect... the 7.5 hotfix was a joke.. adding some problems of sluttering.. and crash after a few game start / exit (looks like a problem with video memory flush).

But with 7.6 all the problems are gone.

I saw a performance improvement of ~200 points in ArmA Mark. Better overall framerates by ~25-30%. I'd been seeing mostly 20-30 fps and am now seeing 30-40 fps averages. biggrin_o.gif

on my x800 this doesnt seem to have improved my Arma issues at all. I still crash every 30minutes at best. I think my CTDs have something to do with my FPS but i need to check it out first
