so i guess there is no way to intergrate punkbuster? Don't know much about this stuff but I am sick of all the cheats I've been seeing on the MP Server. What's even worst is that they are so obvious and make no attempts to hide the fact.

For example..

"ARMAAC 1.006 listening/reading client xXXx (the nick of player)"

after it's end

"ARMAAC 1.006 player is good.. have nice play.."

Similar I think with PunkBuster..

I've installed ARMAAC 1.006 in my Clan server

I put this on the =IMO= servers and I have to say I have noticed a 50% decrease in server population. In the evenings we would have a full server now I havent seen more than 16-20 people on. But... We havent had any hacking incidents since we started using it so that is a plus.

To further prove Mobius' point, we recently played without Armaac and noticed a large increase in the amount of people playing. If I had to guess the mods that are causing people to be booted, I would have to say XAM and 6thsense.eu mod and Sixth Sense Pack. Do you have any documentation on how server admins can add mods to the whitelist?

in theory it would be possible via the signature system of ArmA,

however as BI didn't release the signing tool yet, this way doesn't

work right now.

guys the addon verification is not secure enough.. there is just one way to stop them

but unfortunality i cant tell you.. we have to test it first and find a way to hide our script

The inner team is alive and active in the closed part.

We are on low profile and no big projects going on right now.

Yet the cheating situation is closely monitored, information is being

exchanged and forwarded to BI.

As long as we don't have solutions to help the community for the

current problems (besides working together with BI, which

everyone can easily do by sending BI at least new cheats etc),

there won't be much news. Sorry. I think you'll understand though.

ECL, ESL and AL MP leagues are present in the team. Mainly

people from OFP. New motivated and decent people from the

ArmA scene are always welcome though.

Just understand the difference between the public and closed part.
