sickboy 13 Posted February 5, 2008 Partly already posted in the HWM thread:SIX Tracers did not work with following addons installed on my system. Please verify, if you like - HWM_air.pbo (Hellenic Warfare Mod) - Murdock_ufo (4 addons, needed for an UFO MP map) - ufobb.pbo (also needed for this UFO MP map) Then you'll have to take it up with them mate.My addon uses XEH (Extended Eventhandlers) by Solus and Killswitch. This method is the preffered method because it can ensure compatibility for eventhandlers between all the mods and addons out there. Those that don't make use of it cut their own hands Also, addon units/vehicles will automaticly use tracers if the weapons / ammo is based on the default BIS ones. If things are fully custom, they will have to add tracer properties to the weapons/ammo so my tracer script can read the values. I would to setup the UI mod to show ammo, and damage from the vehicles, you hidden these bar for real feel prupose I think, but I prefer for vehicles and chopper to see damage & ammo indicators. I really see no reason at all otherwise to use PM and I really hate it I don't know your pm hate position sorry I like the UI small font and position, so I don't want to disable it, I look in the cpp files but I don't find any line that could affects the ammo & damage indicators. OT: I'm trying the new 169.38 nvidia drivers and I got good performance, previous I use the 169.21 and 169.06.... The drivers are for xp & vista but I only try on xp end OT. Dan ick(uk) 0 Posted February 11, 2008 Hi mate, I was wondering if you could help me ive downloaded a 1gb v1.24 file from Armaholic twice now and when its finished downloading an i start installing,the installation gives me an error message at around 70% when on a certain island pbo and ive tried the link at the wiki page for an alternate download but it tells me there isnt a file ther,i was just wondering if you knew of anywhere else ican download your mod from or if people have downloaded v1.24 full from armaholic and its installed ok. I get tracers on the HWM Huey but they don't work quite right. The tracers from the MG3 don't come right from the barrel but a few inches to the side of the gun instead. Edit: I haven't checked the other guns you listed as having no tracers. I will check them later today. To be honest, I've never noticed the tracers or lack there of, after this update and the v1.09beta were released. I just assumed they worked fine. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

manzilla 1 Posted February 23, 2008 So that's why NWD's TankFCS mod hasn't been working for me anymore. I always edit HWM's vehicles into the SP missions I play. Seriously I read this thread all the time, but for some reason I didn't truly realize how much trouble the lack of XEH compatibility caused. This blows, I'm seriously conflicted now. IMHO, the HWM vehicles are my favorites. I always add hem to missions. But now I know why TankFCS and others stopped working, it's hard to do nothing to fix them. Choices, choices... If you know how to edit configs, you could take a shot at converting it to XEH for your own use? @Reported Problems: My Game/Dev machine had issues for a while but they seem to be resolved. thy_raven 0 Posted March 4, 2008 Hiya, I've been playing with the SIX_tracers and really like it, my only problem seems to be the shilka and BMP main gun tracers don't seem to have a controllable setting. in the config file i have set all tracers to small and once every 3 or 5 rounds. but the shilka and BMP fire large tracers every shot. I didn't expect it to look like this to be honest. Green lights? A friend asked me it this is a Star Wars mod! And it lags. I set up a battle between 4 Blufor vs 4 Opfor full squads and brought my pc to it's knees. Normally my Pc can handle everything.
