1) Description:

---------------

This addon represents Slovenian Soldiers in Woodland camo (default), Desert (peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan and instructors in Iraq) and Alternate (desert clothing/woodland flak-jacket & webgear). In this release default ArmA models and weapons/gear is used. They represent best choice to the the real units (SV Army uses M70AB2 and Herstal FN 2000).

2) Addon requirements:

None. It should work with any version of ArmA.

3) Installation:

To begin using the addon:

1. Close the game.

2. Extract the file "sbpSvojak.pbo" to your 'ArmA/Addons directory'.

3. Run the game and find the units under BLUFOR/SBP SV.

4) Uninstall:

1. Close the game

2. Delete the file "sbpSvojak.pbo" from your 'ArmA/Addons directory'.

5) Units present in this release:

SV Leader

SV Rifleman

SV Grenadier

SV Automatic Rifleman

SV Machine Gunner

SV Ammo Bearer

SV Medic

SV Anti-Air

SV Anti-Tank

SV Designated Marksman

SV Commando

SV Military Police (desert camo only)

6) Version History

1.0 - initial release, 3 camos included + military police

1.1 - small bugfix: leaders wounds now visible

1.2 - fixed desert camo colors, now more realistic looking

1.3 - more realistic skin colors, faces representing real Slovenian soldiers, fixed bug: able to select satchels/grenades after respawn.

It seems after some more testing that the units I tested first "appear" to be the only ones missing it.

SV leaders (all three kinds)

I put all 3 types ingame and all 3 didnt have it. So its just a coincidence I guess. The rest seem to have it.

Heh, these ArmA models work pretty well with most retextures so far.

Only addons that just don't look right are modern US ACU units, LOL. Guess that's the issue to be solved with tools.

Anyway, graet work. Waiting for weapons.

I guess, the whole thing is more or less about the helmets. Most of armed forses use PASGT like shepe ones, therefore good textures usually do the job. MICH shapes differ way too much to be simulated only by textures.

About the vests, webbing and stuff, let's be honest, what do the rest of the world know about Slovenian or Polish gear...

Thanks, we're amazed that over than 500 of you tested out our addon in less than 2 weeks! We'll release a mission pack soon that will feature our new units. Currently we have around 40 missions ready and 10-12 are in work.

You can help us testing them out weekly, we post all events on portals www.arma.si (English) and www.vojak.si (Slovenian).

Tommorow we're testing out the Yugoslav M70 AB2 and M70AB1 (tromblon), hopefully this addon will reach 1.1 soon after that

FN F2000 is still not ready for release. Thanks to our guys for all their efforts to bring RL guns to our unitpack.

Yup. You should probably open up a new thread or use an existing one you have. I think more people will see it and dl those if you do. Plus I can imagine, some authors wouldn't appreciate you using their thread. Just a thought.

We decided to release one more version (1.3) before we attach new weapons to the pack (we already use them, but we're awaiting FN F2000 to be completed).

New in 1.3:

- more realistic skin colors

- faces representing real Slovenian soldiers

- AI soldiers use random common Slovenian names

- fixed bug: able to select satchels/grenades after respawn.
