What/how many languages can you speak?

Recommended Posts

Arabic/Farsi

Just as a sidenote for those who might not know it, Arabic and Farsi (Persian) are two totally different languages. Farsi is actually part of the Indo-European language family, so it might be easier to learn. Dunno, haven't started yet.

Fluent:

English (British mother)

French (Spoken since I started speaking seeing as I was born and raised in Belgium)

Italian (Italian father)

Good knowledge:

Dutch (Born and raised in Belgium. Also, Flemish channels subtitle their programs, which are nearly always American or British, instead of dubbing, which btw is an excellent way of learning a foreign language)

Spanish (Taught at school from the age of 15)

I was educated in a European School (Brussels) so languages could be considered my forté, and I was lucky to be bought up in a very multi-cultured environment
