Jesus.... I've seen the "Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori" slogan for a while now and during the video I actually took the time to read it.(Instead of just noticing it.) I can't believe I didn't realize what was wrote earlier. That's a great quote.

I love the Odes, Horace is among my favorites.

I think this is a better way of putting it:

Nah, I do like Owen's take on it. But he took it from Horace almost 2000yrs later and left out the best parts of the quote. That's a great poem though, and it's been years since I read it. Thanks.

Here in Germany People would call "slogans" like that "Blinded Brainwashing" or similar
