Been awhile with no updates.  Any news?  

Just like Sand Flea said about the CH-53E, I would like to see the CH-46E too.  Fischkopp must be hard at work.

Right on... Just for the sake of the HMH, I hope the CH53E comes out first. The MMH already has the UH-1N to mess around with until the CH-46 comes along, not to mention the AH-1Z compliment.

Sorry to disappoint you. Avation stuff has low priority.

1st: a "basic pack" (see the list above)

2nd: the rest of land based USMC units

3rd: avation units

4th: naval forces

Without USMC groundunits for ArmA avation stuff makes no sense in my opinion. It would just a eyecandy and a thing to play around with.

So, even though the UH-1N is an aircraft, it will be released in the basic pack? Also, have you folks considered doing the UH-1Y later on? It's the 4-rotor one with a more powerful engine, I think. USMC is transferring to it because the weight of all the new systems on the UH-1N bogged down the aircraft.

Oh yeah, no gray paint scheme? That seems to be the most common.

@Sand Flea: I think you haven't read the first entry by me. This mod covers only 1980's at moment with the (small) possiblility to upgrade to the 1990's. But to construct a complete USMC from 1980's to the beginning of the 21st century is really unliekly.

So, you will only see a UH-1N in green and green/grey/black camoflage, like it was used during the 1980's. Within a possible 1990's expansion there will be a grey and desert camo version added.

I know there are a lot people outside who wants to fight in a iraqi enviroment (OIF) with modern US Forces, but this mod is dedicated to the past. A fictional clash of the cold war enemies, offers a wider range for warfrare then OIF. Also there are a lot of possible mini-campaigns of that time like Operation Urgent Fury, Just Cause (or a fictional intervention in latin america against a coup d'etat of socialists[?!] ) and maybe later Desert Shield/ Desert Storm.

If you need a UH-1Y pray that someone else will model one.

It had lesser modern electronic instruments and a smaller bay for it and the ammunition for the gatling canon (direct under the cockpit). Also it had a bigger engine boarding.

Hi, i've found a F18 model for sale at 25$, it comes with two paints

in 2048x1024 and the 2 grey tones version looks good enought.

I don't knew where to inform about this, and this looked to me like

the best place to do it. Sorry if i was wrong in that FK.

Hi FischKopp,

Just thought of this...will we have the SMAW in your mod?     You should.  I had to carry that damn thing around quite a few times back in my USMC days.  I hated carrying it but loved to fire it.   I remember that they were getting ready to phase it out way back when (1992) but still see that the SMAW is still being used in Afghanistan/Iraq.

Referring to FAS the SMAW was fielded in 1984 to the Corps ... so yes it will be implemented.
