Russian Federation reskins

[Shadow NX 1]

Decided that its time to show a bit of what me and Plasman are working on since a few days.

As some may know i got some reskins on my HD for quite a while now but with the help of Plasman these will finally see a release.

Here are some first teaser pics:

Also some troops can be expected, design isnt 100% final yet.

Planned so far:

- BMP-2 & BMP Ambulance both with camo

- VDV BRDM-2 & BRDM-2 with ATGM both with camo

- T-72 camo

- Shilka

- VDV UAZ

- Ural

- VDV troops

- GRU Spetsnaz

- Crews

As you can see on the pics goal isnt 100% perfect realism, main thing i wanted to achive is that i like the units and so far i find them pretty ok even if they got flaws.

Main prob offcourse is the limits of reskisn but not much we can do about.

Also no eta for a release yet but shouldnt take too long.

Will they be BLUFOR, or OPFOR? If they were BLUFOR we could see some US-Russia peacekeeping missions.

but colors of vehicles - i think russian vehicles are mostly painted in following way: (of course there are other camo shemes in other parts of this country like grey/green)

I know the camo isnt 100% accurate but ive seen it on pics done like that before i think.

However i wont touch them again i think they are catching dust on My HD for months now and i just want to see them released if im honest.

Oh and Btw if my eyes dont fool me your T90 in the middle is a Remote Controlled Toy, seen videos of these and they are huge really good looking ( for a toy that is ).

Hmm, I'd make them Independent. Whilst Russia may seem to be Allied to the West, relations are in fact crumbling as the days go by.

We need to be able to create more 'sides', to better organise the troops, and then another option to set the alliances between nations etc.

Instead of Blufor, it could be broken down into: US, UK, France,Canada, Israel Australia etc

With the usual suspects. Russia (neutral?), Iran, China, Syria

Would be more flexible if you'd have em on Resistance also I think.

you can do 2 classes for each soldier with side=2, side=1

but one soldier cannot be on two sides
