FRAPS not recording, only taking SS

hey fellow peeps, I just got this bug now with fraps, it records clips from other games, it did with Arma & now it's not recording from Arma, but i hear sound.

I tried uninstalling, tried messing with some settings on fraps.

But all i get is a blank screen with just sound on it when i view my recorded scene.

now i can't continue my 2nd part of "careless".

Can someone please help?..

I've got exactly same problem.

My system Core2Duo E6300/2GB RAM/8800GTS 320MB (drivers 100.87 or 101.02)/Windows XP Prof SP2/Fraps latest 2.8.2.

FPS counter works well, but screenshot or movie shows black screen (with sound in case with movie). Other games working fine (Flatout2, PrinceOfPersia SandsOfTime).

Few weeks ago I replace videocard. With my old card (ATI X1950Pro) - fraps works well in all games.

Possible bug in video drivers

Could you tell me please, how Catalyst or Omega drivers can help me, nvidia owner? I saw this FAQ, and read it carefully.

Could, anyone, who got 8800GTS and XP 32bit try to use Fraps for screenshot and movie? I need to locate trouble.

I solve my trouble. I delete all extra codecs and players from my system (like klcodec pack, ffdshow, divx player and so on) - and everything working fine now! Very strange, because fraps in other games work well..
