Decimus 2 Posted February 10, 2002 I have been playing this game for several months now and there are two things that annoy me about it: collision detection and tracers. The thing about the former is that whenver you are running up a stairs half of the time you warp through a wall and fall a story to the ground. Also when a helicopter crashes it tends to bounce alot. Well the point of this post is that are there any plans or ways to fix this? It gets tedius running up a tower 10 times because you keep running through the guard rail. Other than this and the fact that the tracers look funny the game is great. Well maybe one other thing: the fact that your shadow shows through the wall if you are on the second or so floor, which makes city fighting interesting to say the lest. P.S. Thanks for listining to my incoherent rambling.
Greg 0 Posted February 10, 2002 Why do you go upstairs? Almost all the window ledges are slightly too high to fire a rifle from Fixing those building models would be even better than the dodgy collision detection.
Decimus 2 Posted February 10, 2002 What's the point of having fixing the buildings if you run right through the wall? The urban fighting in this game is pathetic to say the least.
sergeant rock 3 Posted February 10, 2002 I agree with you Decimus, but I also agree with Greg that the windows are just slightly too high to fire a rifle from. I think that's one of the reasons no one ever hides/snipes in buildings. If both of these things were fixed, it would add a new dimension and enjoyment to the game.
