ok i have fliped through the forms a lot and i found this prob 1 time but i gess the gye was a hacker i got my game form sprocket down load i have the ArmaEuro ver105 but the AIM is off not way off, sum times its way off i gess but no more than some AI when i fire rockets thay are dead on if i aim tords the top of the tank, hand grenades to, I can not pass the basic training for the M-16 i get like 5 but i have seen youTV and that gye is real close but all most hiting every one. DO i need to DL the game agen? i thought it was frame rates at first, but its not i have a min 29 to 35. Is it realy hard to get past the RANGE. thanks for the help

It's not a legitimacy problem, that wouldn't affect your aim in-game anyway.

Rifles are zeroed to a certain distance, the m16 is zeroed to 300m so targets closer to you than 300m you have to aim below the target to hit them, it's not simply point and shoot in arma.

yes it would, FADE makes the game unplayable after a while by making it impossible to aim, steer etc

I thought it has already been pointed out here that ArmA does not use FADE, which is in fact owned by Codemasters.

Also, what do you mean by "DL the game agen" Sixer? if you have, buy the game mate. It can be found for less than 20UKP here in the UK. If you deny the devs. that you might find your nuts roasting in hell someday!

Sprocket download, memnoch, it is quite a legal way to obtain the game.

i ment down load agen. what is FADE. i have an M-16 in THE USA we can have guns like this and a M-16 is a very acurate i can hit a 2x4 board at 100 yards kind of easy. but in the game it would never happen. i checked the 9mm and i cant hit eney targets with that. its craze.

FADE was a technique that OFP used. The game would degrade to the point where it was unplayable apparently. I never saw it myself but ArmA does not use this technique as Codemasters own it, not BIS.

It might be worth doing an un-install then re-install and prove you can play the game without the patch first. Then apply the patch and re-test.

Regarding FADE,

I believe that folks who have used ofp are just referring to the in game protection in ARMA as FADE, both in many forums and on line.

Its become a generic term, like Xerox or Hoover..

Brand names that now describe the default object.
